Photos from my recent trip to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (near the Gold Coast). Unfortunately when photographing these stunning Rainbow Lorikeets, the lighting was insufficient and therefore a high ISO was required. Therefore, the noise is clearly visible. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the vibrancy of colourful birds through my lens. Inbox me for settings :)

Sunrise at Queensland’s spectacular Gold Coast - Surfers Paradise.

Having arrived at our hotel for our short holiday break, I realised that our sea-view was East-facing and therefore, we could watch the sun rising out through the ocean and above the waves. The next morning, barely awake, I took out my camera, captured some shots like these and then went back to bed. The next couple of days were the same. In my opinion this scene was undoubtedly stunning :)

Settings were - f/8 and 1/125s (for both images), ISO 100 and 28mm (for the first image) and finally ISO 125 and 55mm (for the second image).

Your photography is really great! I especially love the ones with water droplets on flowers. :)

Thank you so much! I really really appreciate it :) It’s people like you who keep me going in life haha. Have a great day :)

Quite an astonishing sunset from my O’Reilly’s visit in December 2013. The mountains created a pretty nice layering effect which really adds to the overall feel of the photograph. The settings were: f/5.6, 1/125s, ISO 320 (first image) - ISO 250 (second image) and 55mm on the kit lens. Hope you like them :D

One early morning, before drama rehearsal, I noticed these tiny water droplets on a purple leaf, hanging outside on our back deck. I particularly liked the blurred circles of light in the background (bokeh), which create an interesting contrast to the surrounding colour. The settings for this photo: f/5.6, 1/125s, ISO 800 and 55mm (on the kit lens).

Some street photography from my 2013-2014 America trip. These ones were taken in New York in Times Square (no wonder everyone’s looking up haha). I love the expression on each subject’s face as they walk through or enjoy the chilly city landscape. Inbox me if you want the settings/stories behind them :)
